Information we collect

When you submit the project inquiry form, we collect the name, business name, email address, service interest, message, and any other information you choose to provide. Netlify, our website host and serverless-function provider, may also process request and technical information such as an IP address, browser or device information, request time, and service logs when it delivers the site or runs the form function.

How we use information

We use information to respond to inquiries, discuss requested services, prepare proposals, provide support, operate and secure the website, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.

How the inquiry form works

Your submission is sent over the web to a custom function hosted by Netlify. The function validates the submission and uses the request IP address for short-term rate limiting. It then sends the inquiry through Resend, our transactional email provider.

Resend receives the contact information and message content needed to deliver one notification email to Jack Willner Web Design and one confirmation email to the address you supplied. Resend may maintain email content, recipient and sender metadata, delivery events, API logs, and related account data in accordance with its terms, privacy policy, and account settings. Resend states that its account data is stored in the United States.

How information is shared

We disclose inquiry information to Netlify and Resend to host the website, process the request, secure the form, and deliver the emails described above. The delivered message is also held by the email providers and mailboxes of Jack Willner Web Design and the person who submitted the form. We may use other professional or technical service providers when reasonably necessary to operate the business, comply with law, protect rights, or complete a requested service. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and requests

We retain inquiry emails and business records only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, discuss or provide services, maintain records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations. Netlify, Resend, and email providers may retain service data, logs, backups, and delivered messages under their own policies and settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of information controlled by Jack Willner Web Design, email jackwillnerwebdesign@gmail.com. We may need to verify the request, and deletion may be limited where retention is required or permitted by law or where data remains in a provider’s backups.

Cookies and tracking

Our site may use essential technical features supplied by its hosting provider. If we add analytics, advertising pixels, or other nonessential tracking technologies, we will update this policy to describe them and any available choices.

Security and changes

We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, including server-side form processing and keeping service credentials out of browser code. No online transmission, email system, or storage service is completely secure. We may update this policy when our practices or providers change and will post the revised version here.
